DAY 3 OF 8

Here’s the truth:
When we stop and think about who God is and what He’s done for us, we have every reason to live with gratitude.
He gave His life for us.
He gave us hope beyond this broken world.
He offers peace, purpose, and unconditional love.

And yet...
There are days we still just don’t feel it.

That doesn’t make you a bad Christian. It makes you human.
But the good news is, we don’t have to wait for our feelings to catch up before we move forward.

Choose Truth Over Feeling

Emotions are real, but they’re not always reliable.
What feels good isn’t always right, and what’s right doesn’t always feel exciting.

That’s why we don’t build our faith on emotions—we build it on truth.
When we choose to live by truth, we make decisions that reflect who God is, not just how we feel in the moment.

Faith in Action

Right now—today—there are people in your life that God has placed thereon purpose.

  • Someone you know needs an encouraging word.
  • A neighbor might need a hand with something small.
  • A friend might be silently struggling and waiting for someone to care.
  • You have gifts and time and influence that can bless someone else.

And guess what? You don’t have to “feel” it to do it.

When you start putting your faith into action—even on the days you feel off or numb—you create space for God to move through you. And little by little, your focus shifts from yourself to the people around you.

Watch What Happens

As you practice stepping out in faith, you’ll start to notice something amazing:
God shows up.

You’ll begin collecting testimonies —stories of how God used your obedience to impact someone else.
Write those stories down.
Talk about them with friends.
Celebrate what matters.

And here’s the bonus: sharing those moments will encourage the people around you to start doing the same. Your obedience can ignite purpose in someone else's life.

Take the Challenge:

  • This week, find one simple way to serve someone—without waiting to “feel led.”
  • Start a journal to record moments where God uses you.
  • Text a friend to encourage them—and ask how they see God working.
  • Pray every day, “God, help me see people the way You do.”

Prayer You Can Pray:
Jesus, thank You for being constant, even when I’m not. Help me live by Your truth, not just my feelings. On the days I feel disconnected, remind me that faith in action brings joy and purpose. Show me where I can serve today, and use my life to bring hope to others. Amen.

Bottom Line:
You might not always feel it.
But if you move anyway, God will meet you in the doing.
And before long, you’ll be living a life full of stories that only make sense because He showed up.
