Father’s Love: 30 Days of Discovering God as FatherSample

Day 17 – A Source of Strength
God is your strength and your source of strength. Psalm 29:11 (NIV) declares, “The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.” When you’re weak, He’s your strength. When you feel like throwing in the towel, He’s your strength. When life puts you in between a rock and a hard place, God is your strength. He’s never asked you to do life without Him. He knows you’ll go through the floods, the fire, the valleys, the mountains; and He calls you to draw your strength from Him. (Isaiah 43:2-3)
In 2 Corinthians 2:11, we are told to not allow Satan to outwit us because we are not ignorant of his devices or schemes. One way Satan outwits sons and daughters of the King is to distort their perception of their heavenly Father and His integrity to step into their tough situations, so they go through life fighting alone as if they’re orphans. You are a son and daughter of the King of Kings! He even calls you a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). He is limitless! He does not grow weary, and he does not faint. (Isaiah 40:28).
What situations are you facing today that you need the strength of God? Just ask Him.
What ways has God revealed His strength in your life? Praise Him for it!
Declare aloud today: “The Lord is my strength; I will not fear.”
Read, internalize, and pray each scripture to deepen your faith.
