Father’s Love: 30 Days of Discovering God as FatherSample

Day 18 – A Guide in Truth
We live in a world where falsehood, (even in the church), confusion, identity crisis, comparison syndrome, and misinformation overload are rampant, and it can become a burden that weighs you down until you don’t know what to believe anymore. Your heavenly Father is the truth and the guide in all truth as a father should. He doesn’t lead in falsehood, deception or manipulation.
John 16:13 (ESV) reminds us of the promises Jesus gave His disciples before He ascended into heaven. He says, “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth.” That Spirit is the Holy Spirit who lives in you right now, all the time! He is also God! His voice is what matters over any other voice. Even when He uses others to speak to you, it will never contradict the word of God.
So, if you’re feeling lost or confused about any area of your life, spend time praying and fasting and ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you, guide you and lead you into all truth concerning your situation. Your Father’s guidance brings freedom and clarity.
Read, internalize, and pray each scripture to deepen your faith.
