Restoring Your Soul - Living a Limitless Life

DAY 28 OF 30

Rewriting Your Story – A Story of Redemption

If you are still with me on Day 28 of the Restoring Your Soul journey, thank you and congratulations! We have been discussing many vital subjects, and this devotional was not for the faint of heart.

Today, I'd like for you to do a quick check-in with yourself. How are you doing four weeks into this deep dive of submitting, healing, and renewing?

I want you to know that if it has felt overwhelming, that’s ok. And, if it has felt a little discouraging because you realize how much of life is behind you and how much work it is/has been to try to restore your soul. I have good news for you today, friend: THE PAST DOES NOT DEFINE US!

It’s easy to believe that our past mistakes, failures, or missed opportunities define who we are, or even what our future holds. The enemy often whispers, “You’ll always be stuck in this,” or “You’ll never change.” But God’s Word reminds us of a different truth: our past does not have the final say.

I want to encourage you with the truth of Philippians 3:13-14 – “Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

I want you to know that regardless of your age or what you have identified with during this study, you are not alone, you are LOVED and it’s not too late to continue the redemption story.

Restoration is a process, and if you have tried to engage with the questions and Scriptures over the past weeks, you are not where you began. I know that it has blessed God’s heart that you have partnered with Him to accomplish the renewing and healing that you have had the capacity to do, and God will continue to walk with you to complete what He has started in you. He is not looking for perfection, but rather diligence and relationship.

Yesterday’s regrets or pain does not limit God’s plan for you. Every day is an opportunity for a fresh start, a new perspective, and a step forward in faith. While we cannot change what has already happened, we can choose to release it to God, learn from it, and let Him shape our future. And that’s what this 30-Day devotional is all about: partnership, embracing a process and growth, at whatever pace is comfortable to you.

So today,

I Invite You to Ask Yourself:

1. What have I begun to change in the past 28 days? (Thank God for partnering with you in the process of restoration)

2. Am I living with intention and being willing to heal? (If so, that’s a BIG win!)

3. In reflecting on the past 28 days, in what ONE area of my life do I need to submit my will, renew my mind, or heal my emotions moving forward?

4. What Scriptures have stood out to me in the past 4 weeks?

I Invite You to Pray:

Lord, today I want to say Thank You! THANK YOU for loving me, THANK YOU for your patience and unconditional love for me, and THANK YOU for your partnership in helping me to see my blind spots to restore my soul. I Love You, Lord!

About this Plan

Restoring Your Soul - Living a Limitless Life

Do you identify with "the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak?" If so, you're not alone. This 30-day Bible reading plan focuses on how to partner with God to restore our souls. We can renew our minds, submit our wills (submit isn't as scary a word as you might think), and heal our emotions. I invite you to join me in learning to walk more fully in the Spirit, instead of being governed by our flesh. Your limitless life awaits!
