A Global Wind: Fresh Winds for Service from Our Neighbors’ World

God’s global mission encompasses all cultures, nations, and languages. As part of the family of God, we are invited to participate in this broader mission, reaching beyond our local contexts to connect with and serve our global neighbors. While we may have deep roots in our communities, we are part of something much larger—a global community united by the love of Christ.

When we open ourselves to the experiences, wisdom, and perspectives of believers in different parts of the world, we allow the Holy Spirit to blow fresh insight into our lives. This Spirit-led openness pushes us to go beyond our familiar routines, calling us to serve with humility and to learn from the richness of other cultures and communities. Engaging with the global family of God reflects the unity of our faith and helps us see the world through the eyes of God.

Even if we do not physically travel to other nations, we can still have a global impact. We can participate in the Spirit's movement by supporting global ministries, praying for the global church, and learning from other members of the family of God around the world. The wind of the Holy Spirit is constantly at work across the globe, and we are invited to catch that wind and join in this mission wherever we are.
