When the Veil Lifts
Have you ever thought you were seeing clearly only to realise later your vision was blurred? Spiritually, the same thing happens. If we are called the Bride of Christ (Eph. 5:25–27) then many Christians settle for a ring on the finger (salvation), but still live with a veil over their hearts. They know Christ, but they haven’t seen Him clearly.
Paul prays that “the eyes of your heart” would be enlightened (Eph. 1:18). Not that you would receive more, but that you would see what you already have. When the veil lifts, three things become clear:
1. Hope.
Not wishful thinking but anchored confidence. A hope stronger than storms, grief, or uncertainty. A hope behind the veil.
2. Inheritance.
You don’t just receive God’s inheritance, you are His inheritance. You are His treasure, His joy, His beloved.
3. Power.
Resurrection power is toward you, in you, and through you. Not a distant force, but Christ’s very life at work in your inner being.
So often we are not walking around weak, we are walking around unaware!
When Christ becomes your vision, hope steadies you, identity secures you, and power strengthens you. The veil lifts… and you begin to see Jesus as He truly is and yourself as He sees you.
Reflection Question
Which of these do you struggle to see clearly? Is it your hope, your inheritance, or your spiritual power?
Practical Application
Pray Paul’s prayer from Ephesians 1:17–18 word-for-word out loud over yourself today.
Prayer
Holy Spirit, open the eyes of my heart. Remove every veil that clouds my sight. Help me see Jesus clearly and walk in the hope, inheritance, and power You’ve already given. Amen.
ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ

Have you ever noticed that you can be physically at rest, yet internally restless? The world, the flesh, and the devil all conspire to pull us out of that inner rest. But in his letter to the Ephesians, Paul anchors us in a greater truth: we are seated in Christ. This spiritual reality isn’t just a theological concept, it’s transformational. It’s meant to shape our internal world, grounding us in peace, identity, and purpose no matter what surrounds us. This study is designed to equip you to 'Stay in the Seat'.
