IDEAS FOR SMALL GROUPS:
Mark your fears with a colored marker:
Fear of failure, fear of heights, fear of disappointing others, fear of not being enough, fear of rejection, fear of being honest, fear of being disappointed, fear of voicing your opinion, fear of consequences, fear of losing people, fear of death, surreal fears, fear of sports injuries, fear of change, fear of losing your job, existential fear, fear of being alone, phobias, claustrophobia, fear of people, fear of taking the first step, fear of forgiving.
Bring your fears to the cross and exchange them for courage. Speak God’s courage over each one of you.
How many Bible verses can your find in the Bible that state: “Fear not!”
Competition: Make two groups and spend ten minutes looking for all the Bible verses that state “Fear not”. Which group wins?
Good to know: In the Bible FEAR NOT is stated 365 times!
Challenge: Encourage a person in your Small Group every day during the next week. Be creative, write letters, cards or text messages, give presents. Be courageous!

About this Plan
For many people Easter is merely a nice spring festival. However, the origin of Easter is powerful and relevant for all people. During this time, we celebrate that Jesus died and resurrected for us. By doing this, something incredible happened. In this reading plan we want to engage ourselves with the last 24 hours in the life of Jesus. Jesus’ death on the cross is not the end, but the beginning of something totally new. For each one of us. – “Because I live, you also will live.” John 14:19
