DO NOT GIVE UP
If Judas had only waited! Only 3 days! What would have happened had he encountered Jesus after his resurrection? What an amazing story about forgiveness and a new beginning could Judas have told us all? Would we still be talking about how Judas, the traitor, once again became a passionate friend of Jesus?
When problems, strife, worries or failures occur, we would sometimes prefer simply giving up.
But running away from a relationship, giving up your job, steering clear of conflict, giving up prayer or withdrawing with feelings of guilt only seem the easiest way out at first sight. Maybe you already know that this is not the true solution.
No matter in which situation you are, no matter how desperate it seems, no matter how guilty you feel, there will always be a third day. A day when hope will come around.
Giving up is no option. Keep at it. Hold on. Take one step more. Never give up. Even if the solution does not present itself tomorrow, you can count on what Jesus promised us.
You can be sure that: I am with you always, to the very end of the age! (Matthew 28:20)
ACTION STEP:
In which situations would you rather give up? Remember that God will never give up on you and that a solution is ready in Jesus. And now write this down on your bathroom mirror as a reminder: I will never give up.

About this Plan

For many people Easter is merely a nice spring festival. However, the origin of Easter is powerful and relevant for all people. During this time, we celebrate that Jesus died and resurrected for us. By doing this, something incredible happened. In this reading plan we want to engage ourselves with the last 24 hours in the life of Jesus. Jesus’ death on the cross is not the end, but the beginning of something totally new. For each one of us. – “Because I live, you also will live.” John 14:19
