"Sexodus" Relationships DevotionalSample
Grass is Greener...
Ever heard the phrase, "The Grass is Always Greener on the Other Side"? I think most of us know that isn't true, it just often feels that way - marriage is no exception. Most people will experience after being married for 1-3 years a moment where they ask the question, "Did I marry the wrong person?" But the truth is, if you aren't willing to do the hard work and stick it out with your spouse, you wouldn't be willing to do it with anyone else either! We could take a page out of Ruth's book with this passage here and her commitment to Naomi, no matter what! The grass isn't greener on the other side, it's greener where you water it; where you put in the hard work.
Today, tell your future spouse that no matter what it takes, you're willing to put in the hard work to get married and stay married.
