PRAY:  Heavenly Father, I am learning so much about the results of putting my trust in You. Thank You that You will bring me joy, You will keep me in perfect peace, You will give me a steadfast mind, You will fill me with peace, and I will overflow with hope when I put my trust in You. By the power of Your Holy Spirit I will literally be filled to overflowing with hope. Why wouldn't I want to put all of my trust into You, in all circumstances, all decisions, all conversations, all relationships, and every time I'm afraid, confused, alone, or in danger. Thank You for Your promises Dear Father. I love You and want to get better and better at putting all of my trust in You. Amen and Amen.

REFLECT:  Peace, Hope, and Joy. These are three words that we all want to experience in our lives. So many prayer requests include asking God for one or all of these things. We seek these emotions through praying, through the Fruits of the Spirit, by putting on the armor of God, and memorizing the Psalms. But these verses tell us that we can get all three of these wanted gifts through simply trusting in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus, our Lord, will give us joy and perfect peace, if we trust in Him and keep our minds steadfast on Him. The God of hope will fill us with joy and peace if we put our trust in Him. And we will overflow with hope if we trust in the power of the Holy Spirit. Every part of the Trinity wants us to Trust in Him and offers us beautiful rewards for letting go of our own control, and the control of other people, and putting everything that we are, believe, think, and hope to be, at His feet.

ACT:  What do you need to put at the foot of the cross right now in order to have joy, perfect peace, and a hope that will not disappoint you? Bring the whole Trinity into a prayer time and ask God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit to renew your mind, fill you with joy, give you perfect peace, and to envelope you in a hope that will never disappoint you. These are three beautiful and powerful gifts that He wants you to have. You just have to shift your trust to Him, open your hands and give Him everything you're holding on to, and let go. It's scary but it's incredibly freeing and today is the day!
