PRAY:  Dear Lord, I want to always trust in You and do good. I want to dwell on both the earth and in heaven and enjoy safe pasture. Thank You that as I delight in You, You will give me the desires of my heart. I commit my ways to You, Lord, and I will trust in You. And I thank You that You will make my righteousness shine like the dawn and make me blameless in the eyes of others, as clear as the noonday sun. You continue to bless those who trust in You and I am so thankful for that. I re-commit my life to You today and turn to You for everything I do and say. I love You Lord and I trust You with my whole body, heart, soul, and mind. Amen and Amen.

REFLECT:  Again, in Psalm 37, God gives us a list of more things He will do for us if we trust in Him. Throughout the Bible He continually tells us that we need to trust in Him and we will be richly rewarded for doing so. So, it must be VERY important. If we trust in Him and do good, we get to dwell on earth and enjoy a safe life. Well, some bad things may happen to us in life, because we are living with millions of other people who all have free will and not all of them follow God. So we have to understand that we are safer because we trust in God and we will ultimately be completely safe in heaven! If we take delight in Him we will get the desires of our heart. That doesn't mean we get everything we want. That means that as we live for Him, He will change our desires to match up exactly with His, which is the very best for us. Then we'll want what He wants and He'll be thrilled to give it to us! And if we commit to Him and trust in Him, He says that our righteousness will shine to others and He will clear us of all blame or suspicion, keeping our record clean. Re-read these verses to soak up the truth and power of these promises. We are truly blessed!

ACT:  From the first day of this week, pull out the list of promises you received from God when you trusted in Him. Now add these last four promises from today's verses and read through the whole list again. It's amazing how much the Lord pours into us when we shift our trust from ourselves to Him. We not only NEED to trust Him, but we should WANT to, based on the blessings that He showers upon us when we do it. End this week with a list to carry with you forever, so that you will never forget to TRUST IN THE LORD!
