Folk & Field | A Musical Study on Community & the Kingdom of GodSample
LAND OF THE KING
Lyrics:
Come my brothers we will dine
We will drink of the sweetest wine
We will laugh and dance and sing
For this is life in the land of the King
Come my sisters with joy inside
Spend every treasure, the finest kind
Gaze on his face, be satisfied
For this is life in the land of the King
Chorus:
Where all is well
We’ll drink to our God
Rest in his grace, bathe in his love
Ascend in his hands to the beyond
His presence with us, is our bond
In the land of the King
Come oh church the blushing bride
Meet your groom on stallion white
Together with all (ancient) saints unified
Living life in the land of the King
Come oh nations rise and sing
Join Holy Hands in the kiss of peace
Salvation has reached each race and creed
His beautiful Body in the land of the King
Themes: The Kingdom, Fellowship, Heaven, Community, and Unity in Christ.
Thoughts to consider as you listen and read through this study: Good fellowship points us toward the coming Kingdom where all is well, tears shall be no more, and “all sad things become untrue.” The kingdom in its fullness will involve men, women, and children from all races and creeds. Our fellowship with the Church now should point us toward this glorious fulfillment of Christ living with his church.

About this Plan
The Christian gospel is about a Holy Triune God making his home amongst a holy people in a renewed and redeemed creation. Jesus is all about folk and field. In this musical 10-day study from Garden City, you will follow the story of man once alone in sin and bad company. It tracks his journey into God's family on earth and in the kingdom yet to come.
