Jesus is Supreme

DAY 4 OF 7

Now that we have talked about the first two steps in the process of walking with Jesus, we have come to the actual “following” part.

Believe it or not, this can sometimes be the toughest part of the process. Pause for a moment and think about an area of your life that you are stellar at. Chances are, this area of your life also allows you to lead people in some capacity. Maybe for you, the area that you’re thinking of is academics. Maybe you got a near perfect score on the SAT and have had a 4.0 all throughout college. So naturally, people come to you for help.

Regardless of what area you thrive in, if you are leading in any way, this means someone is following you. I wonder how many of us have been constantly seeking more and more leadership opportunities, but we haven’t yet learned how to follow?

You see, God desires that when we lead people, they end up following Jesus themselves. He says in John 8:12, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

This is the goal God has for all people. Are you willing to follow Him, who is supreme, and lead others to do the same?

About this Plan

Jesus is Supreme

The world around us is full of avenues that will promise temporary satisfaction. The truth is, only the way of Jesus Christ can fulfill us eternally. But how do we learn to fix our gaze on Jesus, while glancing at the world? Or, as Jesus puts it, how do we be in the world but not of it? Get ready to have your world rocked over the next 7 days!
