Chapter 25 begins a pattern of repetition of similes that reflect on how the world works. The Hebrew wisdom tradition uses repetition often, and we see this really pronounced in Proverbs. We also see an interesting proverb in verse 21 instructing the wiser person to give food and water to their enemies. Here we see where Jesus picks up the idea of loving your enemies in His upside-down kingdom way to view the world.
Taiwan is a politically open land. Let's pray the the Lord would spur missionaries to go and share the good news of Jesus in a field with less opposition and huge need.
