God’s Love Is Forever

Have you ever been disappointed by someone who said they loved you—but then they hurt your feelings? Or have you ever tried to show God’s love to someone, but they rejected you?

That’s a very difficult thing. It can make you wonder if God’s love is like that too. Maybe He loves you sometimes. Maybe only if you’re “good.” Maybe He will reject you and won’t love you anymore.

Thankfully, God’s love isn’t like that. If you’ve tried love before and have been hurt, you need to try again. Watch this video for much more on that.

See? God’s love is real. He really gave His Son, Jesus, to live as one of us. Among us. And Jesus really gave His life for us. God didn’t just say He loved us—He showed it even when it cost Him dearly.

His love is forever. It never gives up. It never runs out. It’s better than any other kind of love you’ll ever experience. If you’ve been hurt or have wondered if God could still love you, then wonder no more. Reach out and take hold of His love for you today! It will heal you and it will fill you with more peace than you can even understand.

Ask yourself: Has there ever been a time when I felt like maybe God didn’t love me so much? If yes, what made me believe that?

Challenge yourself: Grab some paper and write down everything that shows God’s love from today’s Bible readings. There will be some beautiful things to remember for the rest of your life! Want even more? Go back through the first three days of Bible reading to fill out your list. You can write things like: He died for people even when we were still sinners. His love never fails. He calls us His children. (And much more!)

Pray: God, thank You that Your love is real. Your love is forever. Your love doesn’t come and go; it stays constant. Bring me back to Your love if I ever should believe a lie that says anything different. You are always good, and You always love me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
