So, what have you learned through this Bible Plan?

You’ve looked at God’s definition of love. You’ve learned that love changes us. You’ve learned that love tenderizes us and helps us forgive.

Having us get along with one another is pretty important to God. Why? Because He loves each of us the same—He has no favorites! You know that person who drives you up the wall? God loves them as much as He loves you. He doesn’t want you to hate them because He loves them!

Would you like it if someone hated someone you love? No way.

Today, you’re going to read the passage from Ephesians 4 again. You’re also going to read the definition of love from 1 Corinthians 13 again. These verses are the main points of this whole Bible Plan. Treat one another well and live with God’s love.

Just so you’re a “good person”? So people will like you? So you’ll be happy? Nope. Nope. And nope.

Be the love of God to a world that’s desperate for it. Love even when others despise you. Love even when you’re unhappy. Because the more we live and love like Jesus, the better!

Ask yourself: Remember the question from Day 1? Today you’ll take it a step further because you’re ready for it. Which definition of love from 1 Corinthians 13 is the hardest for me to display?

Challenge yourself: Write down your answer from the “Ask yourself” question above. Then, write down three ways you can practice that aspect of love. Example: If you said “keeps no record of wrongs” is the hardest for you, you could write: I’ll remember that God forgave me so I should forgive others. I don’t need to take everything people say or do so personally. I can ask for help if I’m feeling like something’s too hard to forgive.

Pray: God, thank You for everything You’ve taught me about love. Your love is amazing. Help me to live a life filled with love, following Jesus’ example. In Jesus’ name, amen.
