We have learned that we are created in His image and that we are God’s anointed. This week, we are going to learn about bringing good changes wherever we are and in everything that we do. That’s how we become the light that glorifies God with our lives.

Today’s verse says that God created us with a purpose that He has prepared in advance, which is to do good works. Good works here refer to the things we do that bring about good changes or a transformation in the people around us. Works that bring joy to those who are in grief, hope to the hopeless, abundance to those in lack, etc.

Are you ready to be used by God to bring about those changes in both your life and the lives of others? How will you do this? One way is by continuing to have family devotion times such as this. In the next week, we will learn more about this topic.
