Among the many unsung heroes of the Bible movement are those adventurous souls, the men and women who have volunteered to be the deliverers of the word of God to the far-flung parts of the planet. They have used horse and cart, vans and trucks, motorbikes and airplanes. They've even just used their feet. And those are the beautiful feet that bring the news of God's love for us in Christ. In our digital age, we can forget how hard it was in the past to get hold of information. Without these beautiful feet, our forebears would still be in the dark.

If you know the word of truth yourself, are you keeping it to yourself? Or are you willing to be the next link in the chain of the global effort to communicate that Jesus Christ is Lord?

Dear Lord, give us the courage and ingenuity to continue to be the beautiful feet who carry your good news, in whatever form is best today. Amen.
