Picture this for a minute. No more pain. No more hurt. No more tears. No more death. If you’re thinking that could never happen or there isn’t a place or a circumstance where that would be possible, you’re not alone. It’s hard for our human minds to comprehend this could be true. But what if I told you that it was? What if I told you that, one day, Jesus is going to set all things right in the world? The imperfect way things work in our world will pass away. Death and destruction will flee. God is going to make all things right. So, even as we struggle through hard times here, we can know that a bigger, better hope is waiting for us in eternity.

Now, think through what that day may be like. What would it be like to have no more pain, hurt, or death? Write about it in your journal or share some thoughts with a trusted friend. Let it remind you that what we see and experience here is temporary, but what God has for us in heaven is eternal.
