Celebrating Your BaptismSample

Today is the big moment of celebration! This chapter reminds us why Good Friday is called Good -because of Resurrection Sunday! Mary Magdalene finds Jesus first and then goes to tell the disciples. Then, we see several instances of people seeing the resurrected Savior. This is more proof that Jesus did rise from the dead! Over 500 people saw him over the course of 40 days.
During this time, Jesus also appears to Thomas, often called "Doubting Thomas" due to his initial disbelief. Doubt is wiped away as we spend time with Jesus. Doubt is not the opposite of faith, but we must overcome doubt as we continue to grow in our relationship with Him. Anytime we remember what God has done for us, we will remove our doubt and put our trust firmly in what God can do.
In this chapter, God sent out the disciples and gave them the Holy Spirit. It’s time to start sharing what God has done in your life. You’re a witness to what God has done in your life; don’t let your doubt hold you back. What is a doubt you can give to God?
