From the Cross to the World: Living Easter Every DaySample

The Empty Tomb
It was early in the morning when the women approached the tomb. Their grief was still fresh. Their hands carried spices to honor Jesus’ body. But what they found changed everything: the stone was rolled away, and the tomb was empty.
The angel’s words still echo through history: “He is not here; He was risen!” (Luke 24:6).
The resurrection is the heartbeat of our faith. Without it, Jesus would be just another teacher or martyr. With it, he is the victorious Son of God who conquered death.
Because he lives, we have a living hope. One that cannot be taken by sickness, loss or even death itself. Because he lives, we can face tomorrow without fear. Because he lives, we can share hope with a world desperate for it.
Resurrection hope isn’t meant to be kept to ourselves. It should overflow into our words, our choices and our actions. When we live as people who believe the tomb is empty, we see possibility where others see despair. We step into broken places with the confidence that God can bring life from what seems dead.
Reflection Question:
·How does the resurrection give you hope right now?
·Who around you needs to hear or see the hope of Jesus?
Prayer:
Risen Lord, thank you for conquering death and giving me new life. Fill me with your resurrection hope and give me the courage to share it generously. Amen.

About this Plan

Easter is more than a weekend. It’s the turning point of all history and the heartbeat of our daily lives. The cross shows us the depth of God’s love; the empty tomb reveals his unstoppable power. But the resurrection was never meant to be kept to ourselves. You’ll walk through Holy Week into Resurrection Sunday, exploring what it means to live in the hope of Easter every day. You’ll see how humility, service, surrender, compassion, and mission flow naturally from the risen Christ’s work in us. Each day includes Scripture, a reflection, practical application, and a prayer.
