When Trust Becomes TestimonySample

When Trust Becomes Testimony

DAY 2 OF 30

God Is Faithful

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22–23, NIV)

God’s promises have been kept through generations. He has come through on His promises to His people repeatedly. He’s been steadfast, full of mercy, love, and faithfulness. We can take heart in remembering how God moved in the lives of His people throughout history, believing He will continue to move in our lives.

Our God is a promise keeper, full of steadfast love and never-ending mercies. Even when we experience painful moments in our lives, He has never left us alone. He’s had His hand on us, holding us steady and comforting us when we need it.

Look back at a time when He kept His promises to you. What were you going through? How did God show up? How did He see you through?

Remembering God’s faithfulness gives us strength to believe He will come through for us again, no matter what the situation is this time. His steadfast love and mercy assure us of the times He has provided and rescued before, and how He will again. He keeps His promises because even when we waver, He doesn’t. He is our anchor and sustains us.

The truth for today is: God is faithful. Even now. His faithfulness never leaves us.

Prayer:

Faithful God, You come through again and again. You remain steadfast and true. Anchor me in the security of Your mercy and faithfulness. Amen.

Reflection Question:

What is one memory of God’s faithfulness you can return to when you struggle to trust?

About this Plan

When Trust Becomes Testimony

When life feels uncertain and the ground beneath us shifts, we need more than vague hope—we need a firm foundation in the unchanging character of the One who holds all things together. God invites us to anchor our lives in who He is: good, faithful, merciful, sovereign, loving, and more. This thirty-day plan shows us His character, teaches us to trust, and challenges us to live it out.
