When Trust Becomes TestimonySample

God is Sovereign
The Lord has established his throne in heaven,
and his kingdom rules over all. (Psalm 103:19, NIV)
God cannot be contained. He cannot be thwarted or surprised. The world may spin sideways, but nothing gets past our God’s knowing. He is sovereign, in full and complete control. His Kingdom is forever, and nothing falls apart under His care.
We may get an unexpected phone call that drops our heart into our stomach, but God is there. We may endure the sting of betrayal for longer than we’d ever want, but God is there. He knows your hurt, your heartache, and your confusion. And He doesn’t leave you alone in it. God notices everything, and He is working every situation for His glory and ultimate eternal Kingdom. We can let go of trying to control our situations, scared as we are. We can place the unknown and the questions into His care, trusting that the God of the universe knows exactly what He’s doing, and the heart of His actions is love.
He rules the sky and the sea; let’s let Him rule our hearts and circumstances. His ways are higher than ours, and we can trust that whatever the result, it’s for good and a purpose.
The truth for today is: God is sovereign. He is in control. Let God be God.
Prayer:
Sovereign Lord, You are over all. You know what is happening, and You are in control. Help me rest in trusting You. Amen.
Reflection Question:
What situation feels out of your control that you can place in God’s sovereign hands today?

This thirty-day plan shows us His character, teaches us to trust, and challenges us to live it out.
