When Trust Becomes TestimonySample

Trust That Strengthens Others
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. (1 Thessalonians 5:11, NIV)
Trust isn’t just for you. It’s for the benefit of others. When you tell of how God has come through for you to someone else, their faith is strengthened. It gives them just enough hope to keep faith or let God into a place of hurt.
Invite others into your journey. You may not have it all figured out yet. That’s okay. They may watch you walk through your story and see how you wrestle with doubt, but how you still come back to the Lord. It could be what someone else needs.
When we bear witness to one another, we share our stories and are built up together. We empathize and encourage, remind one another of God’s faithfulness and where we’ve seen Him before. As our trust in God grows, it blooms outward as we tell people about how God has made a way in impossible situations. Your testimony of trusting God in spite of what you’ve gone through may be the reminder to keep trusting that someone else needs.
The truth for today is: Our trust can help strengthen weary hearts. God will use our journeys to guide others.
Prayer:
God, I am growing in my trust. You have brought me so far. Use my story to encourage another person today. Amen.
Reflection Question:
Who can you encourage with a story of God’s faithfulness?
About this Plan

When life feels uncertain and the ground beneath us shifts, we need more than vague hope—we need a firm foundation in the unchanging character of the One who holds all things together. God invites us to anchor our lives in who He is: good, faithful, merciful, sovereign, loving, and more. This thirty-day plan shows us His character, teaches us to trust, and challenges us to live it out.
