Day 10: Courage to Choose Love Anyway
Devotional:
Joseph had every reason to hate his brothers—they betrayed him, sold him, and set off years of suffering in his life. Yet when he finally had power over them, he chose grace instead of revenge. He told them, “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good,” recognizing that God had used the pain to position him for purpose. Joseph’s story shows us that people’s attacks can’t cancel God’s plan; they can actually push you into it. Choosing forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was okay—it means you’re choosing freedom over bitterness. Loving people who hurt you is not weakness; it’s supernatural courage fueled by God’s love. When you let God heal your heart, He can turn what was meant to break you into something that builds you.
Choosing not to clap back online, expose someone, or get even after being lied on or left out is courage that looks soft to people but powerful in Heaven.
Let’s Talk To God: Lord, give me courage to forgive like Joseph and trust that You’re working for my good. Help me release revenge and choose love, even when it’s the last thing I feel like doing.
Reflection: Who do you need to forgive so God can turn that hurt into growth instead of a grudge?

About this Plan

This 14-day devotional is designed to help you grow into the kind of young leader God can trust. Fear and uncertainty are real, but God still calls you to rise. Courage isn’t about always feeling brave—it’s choosing faith even when your hands shake. Across these 14 days, you’ll explore stories of people in Scripture who trusted God when nothing made sense, spoke up when silence felt safer, and chose integrity when no one was watching. You’ll learn that courage isn’t something you wait for; it’s something you practice with God’s help, one decision at a time.
