People Like Samuel that Announces

There is no self-made man. But our society likes stories about those who rose to the limelight themselves. We seem to vilify individuals who brought others out of obscurity into the light. But no one becomes a king without a king-maker. That was Samuel's role in King David's life.

Samuel anointed Saul to be the first king of Israel. He also anointed David to be the second King. God used him to bring these men out of their obscurity into the limelight. Saul hid himself, but Samuel located him and anointed him. David was in the field herding the flocks. But Samuel located him and poured oil of grace and recognition upon him.

God uses Samuels for His people. It is ignorance for God's children to think that they can be announced without the ministry of Samuel. It is God's design that people like Samuel introduce and announce His people for their glorious destiny. Several examples in the Bible attest to this. The Lord Jesus had John the Baptist. The Holy Spirit came into your life for this. But He does this through people.

God has destined you to be a blessing to generations. But you will not get to your place of influence without the ministry of Samuel. You must pray that God opens your eyes to them. You must pray that they respond to the Holy Spirit to open their eyes to you. You must also pray that they will release their ministry upon your life. Your destiny depends upon it. You may be in the wilderness until they minister to you. I pray that you will be ready when they locate you. Rise and Pray.

• Father, send me Samuels that announces and introduces me in Jesus' name.
• Father, help me to be ready when Your Samuel locates me in Jesus' name.
• Father, open my eyes to the Samuels You have sent to me in Jesus' name.
