Welcome! As this plan originated, it was the start of a new year…a fresh slate! And for all of us at Carol McLeod Ministries, it is a year dedicated to focusing on prayer! To learning and teaching about all facets of prayer, including gaining a better understanding of what prayer really is, what prayer will accomplish, and what God’s plan was when He thought of prayer.

To begin our dedication to digging deeper into prayer, we would love for you to join us on this five-day video devotional journey. It's filled with inspiring daily teachings and supportive content from God’s word, insights from powerful Biblical prayer warriors, and daily prayers that you can read or make your personalized spoken prayers to God for the day.

In Hebrews 4:16, it tells us to “…draw near with confidence to the throne of grace so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” The New American Standard Version says to draw near with confidence. The New King James Version says to come in boldly. Not only do we get to pray, but we get to pray bold prayers when we come into the presence of God, the Father of Jesus, the Son. Prayer is not to remind God what your problems are, but prayer is to remind your problems who your God is.

My friend, the door is wide open for you. You have been invited by God, the Creator of the universe, to enter into His presence and to tell Him exactly what you need. What are you waiting for?

TODAY’S PRAYER:

Dear Lord…thank you for this time today with those watching and reading along with us. Father, we ask you to speak, because your servants are listening. We come to you first… so grateful that we have the opportunity to be in your presence, knowing you will always receive us with loving kindness. Thank you, God, for an even deeper connection with you! In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
