PRAY LIKE JESUS!

Today, we have reached the pinnacle of our journey! We will look at the supreme example of a powerful prayer warrior – Jesus! What better example can there be than Jesus for teaching us how to pray effectively?!

As today’s video teaches us, the disciples could have asked Jesus to teach them anything – to sing, to worship, to cast out demons, etc. Instead, they asked Jesus to teach them how to pray! They knew, as we know today, that prayer is the key…it is the foundation of all other important things in life.

Let us emulate Jesus in all that we do, including prayer. To know how to be more like Jesus, I highly encourage you to go digging for the nuggets of gold found in God’s word. There are many accounts of brave, faith-filled prayer warriors throughout the Bible. I guarantee that it’s a great read, full of God’s wisdom, direction, and instruction for your life!

Just like daily prayer, reading the Bible is an essential part of our walk as Christians living vibrant and overcoming lives. I pray that God blesses you greatly on your journey!

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Jesus, I love you so much, and I want to be more like you every day! Thank you for these historical accounts of prayer in the Bible. Jesus, I tell you, I’m going to pray. I’m going to be a bold prayer warrior! Help me to stay strong in faith, not tossed by the storms of life or by waves of doubt. I will spend time on my knees with my hands raised in worship, praying to the God of the universe. Please direct my mind and heart to always see and hear you first…before I act. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
