PRAY BOLDLY!

Today, it’s time to look at one of the powerful female prayer warriors in the Bible – Hannah! As we read 1 Samuel 1: 9-13, we learn that Hannah was dealing with the disappointment of a barren womb. Regardless of her affliction, she desperately wanted a baby. She prayed fervently, but when month after month and year after year went by and still she had no baby…who wouldn’t be discouraged?!

But Hannah didn’t give up to wallow in her discouragement. She persevered and prayed boldly! Even though greatly distressed, Hannah prayed to the Lord and cried out, asking Him to remember her and to give her a son. She vowed to offer her son to the Lord all the days of his life. Hannah prayed boldly, fervently…relentlessly! So much so that she lost her voice!

The enemy would love nothing more than for you to become discouraged in your prayer life. But…we cannot be discouraged in prayer. My friend, I encourage you to become a relentless, bold prayer warrior! Pray until you lose your voice, if that’s what it takes.

God will most assuredly connect with anyone who is so committed to prayer. Do not give up! Get the King’s attention while you are on your knees.

DAILY PRAYER:

God, I come to you boldly today! Please forgive any times I walked in fear, doubt, or discouragement…forgetting the open door I have to your presence! I shake off any discouragement and return my focus to you first, your word that guides my life, and your promises that are always yes and amen! I thank you that, like Hannah, I can pray without ceasing, and you will move on my behalf. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
