Path of BlessingSample

Blessed and Guarded
The joy and gladness of knowing who our God is, and faith in His continuous goodness toward us as His children, clears our vision. We go to His Word, which is a spring of water overflowing with promises, and we receive strength to believe that the Lord will turn our wailing into dancing. “Hear, LORD, and be merciful to me; LORD, be my help. You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise you forever.” (Psalm 30:10-12)
Today I encourage you, my sister, my brother, to believe that above your circumstances, God's truth rises over your life. What seems like it will not change, what seems to have no solution, is the starting point for the Lord's restorative work. He will open a way in the desert by His power and His great mercy.
God promises and fulfills, because He is faithful. That is our God. Life sometimes seems to be against us, “when it isn't one thing, it's another.” It is undeniable that our faith must be tested, that temptation will prowl around giving us nudges so that we fall, and that the lion seeking whom he may devour will be continually attacking with his diabolical schemes.
Let us not forget, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:35-37)
What we must also know is that God fights for us and that, through His death on the cross and His victory over death, He has made us more than conquerors. No matter how difficult our situation, our Almighty God guards us, encourages us, and strengthens our hope. It may seem like there is no way out of the desert, but there is a word of faith from the heavens telling us: “I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.” (Isaiah 41:18)
Let Us Pray
My beloved God, how much I thank You for being with me in the midst of all my circumstances. I know that Your help and strength sustain me and that You transform the difficulty of my path into a path of blessing, because as You promise us in Your Word, for those of us who love You, all things work together for good. Thank You, Lord. Amen.
About this Plan

There are moments in our lives when it seems like we are wandering through a desert. It is not a pleasant feeling, much less an enjoyable one. Our lives long for the water of God, and we understand David when he said that his soul was laid low in the dust. But God has a word for us of hope, of change, and of restoration. In these five days, we will be turning to His Word to help us move from the desert to His path of blessing.
