God Clears Our Vision
In these days, we have spoken about how God opens a way in the midst of the desert. On many occasions, difficulties and problems have the effect of blurring our perception of God's blessings in our lives. These blessings are real and do not depend on us, but on the God who gives them to us. Invaluable things, such as the great salvation we possess in Christ, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and the continuous presence of God in our lives, seem to fade before our eyes, giving way to a growing sense of loneliness, desert, and abandonment.
God's blessings have not ceased because of our circumstances. They have neither stopped nor changed; they are the same. So, when our God opens a path of blessing for us, He is truly clearing our vision so that we may once again see the flow of rich blessings that Jesus won for us on the cross. “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19)
The Apostle Paul told the Ephesians: “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” (Ephesians 1:3)
“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.” (Ephesians 1:17-18)
Let Us Pray
Open my eyes, Lord. Do not allow what appears to be a desert before me to divert me from the truth that You bless me. I want to hold fast to Your promises, believing and confessing that You are faithful. Let me see every day the waters of goodness and mercy that flow from Your presence to bless me. Thank You because, for those of us who are Your children, the path before us is a path of blessing. To You be the glory, amen.

About this Plan
There are moments in our lives when it seems like we are wandering through a desert. It is not a pleasant feeling, much less an enjoyable one. Our lives long for the water of God, and we understand David when he said that his soul was laid low in the dust. But God has a word for us of hope, of change, and of restoration. In these five days, we will be turning to His Word to help us move from the desert to His path of blessing.
