Stepping Into the FutureSample

God has promised that he will never forsake you or abandon you!

As you step into the future, God has promised to be with you! Not some person, but God himself! God has proved himself faithful to you in the past, so why do you allow doubts to flit through your mind, suggesting that God might abandon you?

Your future is dependent on all of God’s promises, including God’s promise never to abandon you–therefore, you can move forward into the future with confidence!

Choosing to step into the future with God is choosing a lifestyle of promise with your back turned to your past and your gaze fixed firmly on Christ who walks with you!

God’s presence and power do not preclude disasters, or things going wrong, or hard work. These aren’t signs that you are a failure. Rather, these are opportunities for you to grow in your relationship with God as His precious son or daughter!

God’s presence will sustain you throughout your life! God’s power is more than sufficient for whatever you will face today and tomorrow!

As you step into the future, God will help you serve Him as you meet the deepest needs of those in pain, those in need of deliverance from sin, and those whose bodies need healing or whose minds need restoration.

As you step into the future, God will continue to transform you into His image.

Just as God fulfilled his promise to Moses and to Joshua and never left or abandoned them throughout their life, you can trust God never to forsake you or abandon you as you step into the future!

Prayer: Gracious Father, thank you that you are with me today in everything that occurs today at work. Father, thank you that I can step into the future you have prepared for me, because I know that you will never leave me or forsake me. Father, with you by my side, work through me to meet the deepest needs of those whom you bring into my life today. Amen.
