Find Your Purpose

DAY 5 OF 7

Day 5 - To be known by God

I recently watched my five-year-old nephew do something amazing. After hearing his mom pray about a start-up she wanted to launch, he got so excited that he helped her design a promotional kid poster, hid it behind curtains, and staged a grand "official launch" reveal!

In that moment, I realized who this little guy was truly becoming—someone who deeply knows how to support, encourage, and celebrate someone else's dream.

A similar thing happened in the Bible, in Genesis 22:12, after ten chapters of God and Abraham walking together, God suddenly says, "Now I know that you fear God." It shocked me at first, but it makes perfect sense when I think of my nephew. God and Abraham had a long relationship, but there came a specific moment where Abraham's actions revealed exactly who he had become.

That is exactly what God is looking for in us! King David understood this deeply too, constantly praying, "Search me and know me." He knew there was a massive difference between God just knowing about us and God truly knowing our hearts.

Reflect: Do you think God can say He knows you? Think about it!
