Day 6 - God’s expectation to know you
It’s one thing to know God, but it’s an entirely different experience to be truly known by Him. The famous Bible verse, "Depart from me, I never knew you," can sound terrifying, but it actually reveals God’s deep heartbreak—not His anger. It’s the exact same feeling you get when a close friend walks away and completely changes, leaving you to say, "I don't even know who you have become anymore."
Ultimately, God doesn't focus on what you can do for Him; He cares about who you are with Him. When you stop just going through the motions and truly invest in a relationship with Him, He looks at you with a proud smile and says, "I know this child and he/she has become just the way I created!"
Instead of letting fear push you away, let this invite you to pull closer. The journey won't always be smooth, but the deep peace of being known by Him is worth every up and down— and the best part is, when you live in that love, others will behold God just by looking at you!
