Galatians: Chapter by ChapterSample

A New Creation
Paul closes Galatians with practical encouragement for Christian living. Believers are called to restore those who fall into sin gently, carry one another’s burdens, and persevere in doing good.
The Christian life is meant to be lived in community. We are not called to walk alone. God uses relationships within the body of Christ to strengthen, encourage, and restore His people.
I can tell you that some of the biggest mistakes I’ve made came from a lack of seeking wisdom. Wisdom from my parents, pastor, or spiritually mature friends. Instead, I started making decisions based only on what I thought or what the world demanded.
Paul reminds believers that what we sow determines what we reap. A life centered on the flesh leads to destruction, while a life surrendered to the Spirit produces eternal fruit.
One of the greatest gifts God gives us is wise counsel and godly community. Pride isolates us, but humility invites growth and protection.
The letter concludes by emphasizing that external religious acts are insignificant compared to becoming a new creation in Christ.
Because of the cross, believers are no longer defined by their past, failures, or efforts. They are made new.
In Christ, we are transformed into a new creation.
My prayer is that your family lives in the freedom of Jesus we’ve learned in Galatians. One resource that has helped our family stay rooted in truth is a simple weekly guide we use together.
It’s a weekly short guide with a Bible verse, a worship song, seven daily conversation questions, and a short prayer to help guide our family time. It’s helped us process challenging moments together and stay focused on God’s voice.
