Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "A Place of Power"Sample
When we are about to cross the road or walk on the sidewalk, we will usually hold our kid’s hand as a parent. And vice versa, kids will automatically hold their parents’ hands. Why? Well, for a sense of security. When our hand is held by someone bigger and stronger than us, we naturally feel secure.
Now, imagine God’s hands. The hands of the Creator of the Skies and Earth. The All-Powerful hands. The hands that can do everything else are holding our hands. Is there anything we should fear when we walk with Him?
The above verse gives strength to us and reminds us that in every storm, in every problem, His hands are holding us up. There will be a victory when we’re with Him.
Devotion for Parents
If we, as parents, prioritize our children’s safety, what about our Creator? There is only us in His heart and mind, His loved ones.
What storm are you facing right now? Hold His hand tightly and let His power of victory course through our veins.
Devotion for Kids
Have you ever been so scared, but you suddenly became somewhat braver after holding your parents’ hand? If you can trust your parents (who have limited power), you can trust God, whose power is unlimited. He can help you at all times.
Family Devotion Time
Look for a praise or worship song and share how God holds our hands tightly.
Listen with all the family members and sing together.
Sing it with all your heart and end with a prayer.

About this Plan
Power! A thing that is desired by all humans, even though human power is limited. On the other hand, our God, who is the source of all power, is eager to pour out His power for all of us. The question is, how do we receive it? This devotional will invite all of us, both parents and children, to understand how to activate God's power in our lives.
