Father’s Love: 30 Days of Discovering God as FatherSample

Day 28 – A Giver of Inheritance
Your heavenly Father has a great inheritance for you and the best part is you can get a lot of it now as you navigate this life He has given you here on earth. God lives forever and ever so you’re not waiting for him to pass away. You can enjoy your inheritance now and in heaven. Proverbs 13:22 (ESV) says, “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, but the sinner's wealth is laid up for the righteous.” God is a good, good Father.
Romans 8:17 (NIV) reminds us of this incredible truth, “Now if we are children, then we are heirs; heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ.” Simply put, though he’s fully God, Jesus is our big brother! So, we are entitled to the same inheritance God has given him such as eternal life, authority, power, blessing, etc. Ephesians 1:11-14 calls the Holy Spirit the guarantor of our future inheritance! Hallelujah! Your present and future are bright!
What other inheritance promises can you find in the Bible that you can thank God for and believe for?
Read, internalize, and pray each scripture to deepen your faith.
