God's PlanSample

When Jonah finally decided to submit to God’s plan, God gave him another chance. Then, the unexpected happened. The Ninevites repented for their sins. They didn’t cause any harm to Jonah. Instead, they all felt sorrow for their actions and turned to God. God had a greater plan in store all along. How often do you avoid God’s plan just because you think you know what’s best? It can be hard to surrender to God’s plan. We think we know what we need and what’s best. But the truth is that God’s plan is always better. We have a limited point of view and can only see things as they happen, but God’s point of view is eternal. His guidance is best for us.
Challenge: Where have you been avoiding God’s plan? Take a step towards surrender today.

About this Plan

Our culture loves to have a plan. We want to know what’s going to happen so we can be prepared and in control. The problem is that our plans often end miserably. We can’t see the future, so it’s impossible to be 100% sure about anything. But the good news is that God has a greater plan than anything we can imagine.
