God forgave the Ninevites when they repented. Jonah expected God to send destruction on Nineveh because of their actions, but God showed them mercy and grace. It can be tempting to withhold the gospel from certain people because we assume they’re too far gone. We think things like, “they’d never go to church, telling them about Jesus would be a waste of time, or they’ll judge me if I share my story.” The truth is that we don’t know how people will respond to Jesus until we tell them. Jonah never expected the people of Nineveh to repent, but they did, and God showed them grace. So who is it in your life that needs to hear about Jesus? Don’t say no to Jesus for them. Be brave and share your story.
