DAY 12 OF 15

Have you ever had someone tell you something so good, so shocking, so unbelievable that you almost had to question if it could be true? Like the announcement that you got a significant bonus at work, or the cure of a long-term illness, or a positive pregnancy test after years of trying. News like that is so good—so much of what you’ve longed to hear—that, when you finally hear it, it’s almost impossible to believe it could be true. That had to be how Mary felt when the angel announced Jesus’ resurrection. Of course, she’d hoped and prayed that somehow, He wouldn’t be gone. But she’d seen His death and burial with her own eyes. So to find His tomb empty and be met with the news that He'd risen from the dead once and for all? That news had to have seemed too good to be true. And what did the angel tell her to do with that news? Share it!

The miracle of Easter isn’t something we keep to ourselves. It’s something we believe, receive, and share with the world around us. It’s a miracle worth talking about now and forever. Who in your life can you share the miracle of Easter with this season? Make a point of talking to them about what Jesus’ death and resurrection mean to you, and share the hope we have in Christ.

About this Plan

Reveal

The story of Easter really is the story of a miracle. A miracle preceded by many others that all ultimately point us to one thing: the truth of who God is, how God loves us, and the way God is working on our behalf. In this devotional, we’ll look at three major miracles recorded in the gospel of John. As we do, we’ll see that these miracles were all pointing us toward something greater. We’ll see the reveal of the greatest miracle of all: the resurrection of Jesus.
