What’s your favorite way to celebrate the Easter season? What traditions make the holiday for you? Maybe it’s the curated family photo that you’ll proudly display all year. Or perhaps it’s the meal shared with family and friends gathered together. Maybe it’s the joy of hiding surprises for your kids. Or perhaps it’s a visit to church together as a family on this special day. Whatever it is for you, those things are part of what makes celebrating the Easter season something to look forward to every year. As you do, though, it’s important to remember the biggest reason to celebrate: the miracle of Jesus’ death and resurrection.

As Peter did here, we must celebrate and praise God for this gift. It’s what changed our lives forever, both here on Earth and in eternity with God. It’s the reason we can look forward with hope in this life and beyond. And that’s certainly something worth celebrating! This Easter, make a point to share this verse with your loved ones. Incorporate it into your Easter celebration and take time to praise the Lord for the miracle of Christ and the impact of His resurrection on our lives and in eternity.
