DAY 10 OF 30

There are times when it’s tempting to wonder if God cares about what’s happening in our lives. We may wonder if He either doesn’t notice or doesn’t care about us. These are the kinds of thoughts Israel was having in the midst of facing God’s judgment for their continual rebellion against Him. In this passage, Isaiah explained to God’s people that, while they may have felt hopeless, they had every reason to hope in God, regardless of their feelings from moment to moment.

Isaiah pointed to God’s character and nature, reminding them that they had no reason to question God’s sovereignty or His faithfulness. In our hectic and sometimes challenging lives, we can rest in the same truth. God has existed for all time and created the ends of the Earth. He is at full strength and full capacity every moment of every day, never growing weary. There is nothing hidden from Him; He understands and knows all things. There is no end to the depths of God’s knowledge and understanding.

Do you feel weary, or are you questioning God’s power in your life? In those seasons, remember that God never tires of your circumstances and He understands what you’re going through. Today, give your worries and weariness to Him and have peace in His strength and comfort.

About this Plan

Uncharted

Seasons of life can feel uncertain or uncharted—no clear map. No instructions. Just a nudge to move forward, even when you’re not sure where you’re going. Faith can feel the same way. It can sometimes feel like we’re following God into places that feel too big, too strange, or too complicated. In this devotional, we’ll walk with Moses and wrestle with what it means to trust a God who invites us to move forward even when the road ahead is uncertain.
