DAY 15 OF 30

Hebrews 11 reveals a lineup of heroes who exemplified faith. Page after page we see names of people who trusted God through challenging circumstances. But if we flip through the rest of the Bible, we discover they were human, flawed, and faced their own struggles. They were ordinary, yet their stories and what God accomplished through them make them extraordinary. They were tested, but their faith in what they could not see prevailed.

At some point, your own faith will be tested, too. It may be through a wayward child, an unbelieving spouse, a health crisis, financial strain, or the ache of unanswered prayers. It may manifest as conflict, relational struggles, job stress, or unrelenting fears. In those moments, God calls you to look beyond what you can’t see and trust that He is at the helm, guiding you.

Our hope is not determined by sight, but by what we cannot see. Just as Noah built a boat for a flood when rain had never fallen, you may be called to follow God when the outcome is uncertain. The same God who asked Abel, Enoch, Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, and Moses to trust Him is asking you to trust Him to accomplish His will in your life.

About this Plan

Uncharted

Seasons of life can feel uncertain or uncharted—no clear map. No instructions. Just a nudge to move forward, even when you’re not sure where you’re going. Faith can feel the same way. It can sometimes feel like we’re following God into places that feel too big, too strange, or too complicated. In this devotional, we’ll walk with Moses and wrestle with what it means to trust a God who invites us to move forward even when the road ahead is uncertain.
