Day 3: An Amazing Catch of Fish

Peter caught so many fish that his nets began to break! He shouted for James and John to come help. But even with two boats, there were so many fish that they began sinking!

What do you think was going through Peter's head? What would you think about Jesus if this happened to you?

Peter was amazed. When they got back to land, he fell on his knees and said, "Lord, I'm a sinner. Go away from me."

Peter knew that Jesus had just done something that no ordinary man could do! He felt like a sinner around Jesus and that he shouldn't be around him. So he asked Jesus to leave him. Would you have done the same thing? What would you say to Jesus? How do you think Jesus responded?

Jesus said, "Don't be afraid. From now on you will fish for men." Peter, James, and John believed in Jesus. They left their boats behind to follow him.
