DAY 13 OF 21

Day 13 – BE LOVED: Let Him Lead

Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11; Romans 8:28

We live in a world that sends mixed messages about how you’re supposed to live your life.

Be independent.
Live your truth.
Don’t let anyone tell you what to do.

But at the same time, you’re also told:

Have your license by a certain age.
Be out of your parents’ house by another.
Have a plan for your future.
Don’t fall behind.

It gets confusing.
And stressful.

So which is it? Do your own thing, or make sure you’re checking all the right boxes?

Wanna hear another option?
Let God take over.

In Jeremiah, God speaks to His people and reminds them that He knows the plans He has for them. Plans to prosper them, not harm them. Plans filled with hope and a future. While you’re trying to figure everything out, God already sees the full picture.

Romans 8 reminds us that God is at work in all things. Not just the good or easy parts, but even the confusing and painful moments. When you stay close to Him, nothing is wasted.

Letting God lead doesn’t mean life suddenly becomes simple. It means you stop carrying the pressure alone. You still make choices, but you invite God to guide them.

Think of it like a dance. There can only be one lead. When both people try to control the steps, everything falls apart. But when one leads and the other follows, everything moves with purpose.

God knows the rhythm of your life.

To be loved means trusting Him enough to follow His lead, even when you don’t know the next step.

Let Him lead.

About this Plan

BeLOVE(d)

You are Beloved. Called to be loved. Sent to be love. This 21-day devotional invites students to discover who they are in Christ, learn how to receive God’s love, and live that love out daily. Through Scripture, honest reflection, and real-life examples, students will explore their identity, respond to God’s invitation, and grow in what it means to love like Jesus. Whether faith feels new or familiar, this plan challenges students to trust God’s heart, choose His way, and let love shape how they live.
