Understanding Righteousness

DAY 14 OF 18

Establishment and Divine Immunity

Scripture: Isaiah 54:14-17

“In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you. Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. Behold, I have created the blacksmith. Who blows the coals in the fire. Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me. Says the Lord."

Devotional

While the world may suggest that compromise leads to success, we trust that being right with God is what truly establishes us. In His righteousness, we can find a sense of security from oppression and fear. Our authority to stand against accusations is found as we walk in the righteousness we have received. We are invited to receive these promises as our heritage, trusting God as our vindication.

Reflection Questions:

  • Where am I trying to use self-effort or compromise for establishment, instead of relying on my walk in righteousness?
  • Am I living in a way that gives me the legal right to condemn every tongue that rises against me?

Prayer Declaration

Father, I thank You that in righteousness, I am established. I declare that I am far from oppression and terror. I receive this promise as my heritage, and I commit to walking right so that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Amen.

About this Plan

Understanding Righteousness

Righteousness is a gift. It is not something you work for, struggle for, or attain through personal effort. This 18-day plan from Pastor Stephen Waiganjo and Ruach West Assembly is designed to help you explore how the Gift of Righteousness is your permanent, non-negotiable qualification. Through reflection, and prayer, we invite you to move past the weight of human effort and rest in the grace of your right standing with God.
