Understanding RighteousnessSample

Righteousness and Answered Prayer
Scripture: Psalms 34:15 (NKJV)
The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.”
Devotional
Walking in righteousness aligns our hearts with God's, often removing the barriers that compromise can create in our prayer lives. We can bring our needs to Him with confidence, trusting that His ears are open to those who seek Him. James 5:16 reminds us that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. While we will face trials, we rest in the promise that God is our deliverer, and our position in Christ ensures He hears and responds to our cry.
Reflection Questions:
- Am I currently experiencing friction in my prayer life because of compromise?
- Do I believe that because I am clothed in Christ's righteousness, the Lord's ears are continually open to my cry?
Prayer Declaration
Lord, I thank You that Your eyes are upon me and Your ears are open to my cry because of the gift of righteousness. I commit to walking right and doing right. I pray for forgiveness where I have lived in compromise, and I ask that You deliver me from all my troubles today, according to Your promise. Amen.

About this Plan

Righteousness is a gift. It is not something you work for, struggle for, or attain through personal effort. This 18-day plan from Pastor Stephen Waiganjo and Ruach West Assembly is designed to help you explore how the Gift of Righteousness is your permanent, non-negotiable qualification. Through reflection, and prayer, we invite you to move past the weight of human effort and rest in the grace of your right standing with God.
