Psalm 115:11 – A Shield from Doubt
Jesus continues His earthly mission by teaching an important lesson about faith through the Parable of the Mustard Seed in Matthew 17:17-20. This lesson was prompted by the lack of faith among His disciples, which resulted in their inability to heal a demon-possessed boy in Jesus’ name. “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Today’s verse is a reminder that, if we trust Him… even with faith as small as a mustard seed, He will be our help and shield against doubt. Our little, with His limitless plenty, can move mountains!
