SO BE IT

DAY 5 OF 10

Keep On

by Davide Mutendji

“You know what’s crazy?”
You woke up this morning.

Let that sink in for a moment. Every breath you take is a miracle. Grace and mercy didn’t take the day off—they showed up again, right on time.

So often, we find ourselves waiting on God to do the big things.
“God, I need a job.”
“Lord, please heal me.”
“God, would You provide? Would You send the right person? Would You make a way?”

And in the middle of that waiting, it’s easy to lose perspective. We forget that waiting for a miracle is often a miracle in itself. The fact that you’re still here—still breathing, still believing, still hoping—is evidence that God is already at work.

There’s nothing wrong with waiting. But how we wait matters just as much as what we’re waiting for.

Philippians 4:6 (NIV) reminds us:

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Notice that—with thanksgiving. Not after God answers. Not once the door opens. But right in the middle of the waiting.

We don’t just worship a God who made a way—we worship a God who is still making ways, even when we don’t see it yet. He’s working in the unseen. He’s handling what we can’t. He’s faithful to finish what He started.

So today, may your heart shift from grumbling to gratitude.
From anxiety to trust.
From “God, when?” to “Thank You, Lord.”

Because He made a way—
and He keeps on doing it.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for the miracle of this morning and the grace that met me the moment I woke up. Help me to wait well, trading my "when?" for a "thank You." I trust that even in the unseen and the ordinary, You are making a way and holding my life together with Your steady, faithful hand. Amen.
