Bigger Than UsSample

Faithfulness is one of the defining attributes of God. In this verse, Moses was reminding God’s people—and us—that God’s reliability isn’t momentary; it’s generational. While human faith often rises and falls with circumstances, God’s faithfulness is steady, enduring, and anchored in His character. God’s people were about to enter the Promised Land, surrounded by uncertainty, temptation, and new challenges. Moses wanted them to remember: their confidence didn’t come from their strength, but from God’s steadfast love. Even when His people failed, He remained faithful to His promises.
Think about that—a covenant-keeping God whose love endures for a thousand generations. That’s far beyond what we can see or imagine. It means that the same God who kept His promises to Abraham, Moses, and David is keeping His promises to you. His faithfulness stretches from ancient Israel to your life today—through every generation, every trial, every season.
Our faithfulness wavers. His never does. Trust His track record. When doubt creeps in, remember how God has been faithful in Scripture—and in your own story. Write down a few moments when you’ve seen His hand at work.

About this Plan

The real challenge in life is not how well we start but how we stay faithful over time. In this devotional, we will journey with God’s people as they move from brokenness to renewal. We’ll meet a God who uses personal burdens, teamwork, perseverance through opposition, His Word, and lifelong faithfulness to accomplish His purposes. When the opposition feels too strong, there’s a bigger God who meets us in the middle of it all—a God who works in and through ordinary people.
